From the Principal
Welcome to Sauk Prairie Middle School. We are so excited to have you on our team and in our community. Approximately 600 amazing students in grades 6-8 and 60 dedicated staff members learn and grow in our building every day.
Our goal at Sauk Prairie Middle School is to help every student thrive in their middle school years and grow into the learner they need to be to reach their goals for their future. We are committed to fostering student growth in all areas -- academic, social, and emotional.
The Middle School Years have a mixed reputation, but our staff sees these years as transformative -- years when our students grow from children to teenagers. We are honored to foster the development of these young people and are consistently proud of and impressed by what they accomplish. We focus on helping our students set goals and develop the skills they need to meet them. We also support students in thinking about their future and fostering a connection between the importance of school and their vision for who they want to become and what they might want to do after graduation.
Our success relies on our collaborative relationships with our families, our community, our students and each other. We are committed to fostering this interdependence in support of our students. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for improving our learning community, please reach out. Our whole team is here to support you during these middle school years.
If you found our website because you are moving to the area, please feel free to give us a call to come see our learning community at work.
Sincerely,
Tricia Rodey
