Evan Cunningham is the October Optimist Middle Level Leader
Evan Cunningham, the son of Daniel and Kristin Cunningham and an eighth grader at the Sauk Prairie Middle School, has been named the Sauk Prairie Optimist Middle Level Leader for October.
Emily Rennicke and Matthew Chrisler (PE and Health teachers), and Randy Wallace (PE teacher) nominated Evan for this award.
Mrs. Rennicke had this to say, “Evan leads by example, showing that leadership doesn’t always need to be loud to be powerful. Though quiet and humble, he consistently demonstrates respect, responsibility, and a positive attitude in every activity. Whether working with a team or working independently, his quiet confidence and steady presence make a lasting impact. A dedicated performer in musicals and show choir, Evan brings the same focus, discipline, and grace to the gym that he does to the stage.”
Evan is absolutely thrilled to be taking High School Biology as an eighth grader! He’s diving into the world of science while also juggling his passions for band and show choir. With the upcoming Musical just around the corner, Evan can’t wait to hit the stage and showcase his talent. His love for music is soaring as he skillfully plays multiple instruments!
As he looks forward to high school, the excitement continues to build for all the amazing productions he’ll be part of, both plays and musicals. While Evan has his sights set on college, he’s keeping his options open when it comes to choosing a major.
Thank you to Sauk Prairie Optimists for sponsorship of the Middle Level Leader award.
