Saturday Jan 17th 2026. Sauk Prairie took 1st place at the Baraboo Chess Tournament in the K-8 division. Caden Roth took 1st overall going a perfect 5-0 in the tournament. Wisconsin Dells, Baraboo, Sauk Prairie were represented at the tournament.

This presentation will provide information for the parent(s)/guardian(s) of future Freshmen. We will discuss academic and career planning, the high school trimester schedule, graduation requirements, course registration, and other pertinent transition information. High school counselors will be giving the same presentation in 8th-grade classrooms, so students are welcome to attend, but it is not necessary.

7th and 8th grade students competed in the Math Matters Meet in the Dells this past week. Out of the 407 total students there, SPMS had a team of 20. Our 7th grade team took 1st place in the team division and 8th grader, Emerson R., took home the individual competition 1st place! Way to go Eagles!
