Showcasing another awesome piece of our epic Career Day last week: Our 6th and 7th graders experienced SPMS's version of The Amazing Race!
#TogetherWeSoar 🦅👏🏼

Our 8th grade students got to experience the real world yesterday as they stepped into Mini Manufacturing World (MMW)! A real world simulation of what it takes to create, sell, and manage a product was put into action. Students represented various roles throughout the process such as accounting, marketing, purchasing, warehouse, and even assembly line all in order to gain a feel of what real work life is like. It was a great day and students participated magnificently!

Our 7th graders had a blast at the UW-Madison Engineering Expo! They participated in hands on activities, got the chance to listen to current engineers, make slime, and even meet Bucky! On top of all of that, they represented our school and community in a positive way!

Our Middle School students shined in the annual Variety Show! Congratulations to all the students who performed. Truly remarkable!
A heartfelt thank you to 6th grade teacher Kelly Olson, who has led our Middle School Variety Show since 1997. For generations Kelly has fostered a welcoming environment where every student feels valued and respected allowing them to shine as they take the positive risk of performing!

On April 12, 2025 we will be hosting our third annual Craft and Vendor Fair. This one day event serves as one of our most important fund raisers for offering outstanding field trips and attempting to keep costs down for our families. Volunteer sign-ups will be coming out in the next week or two, but please mark you calendars and consider stopping buy to visit our amazing vendors.

7th grade science teachers are ready to take their show on the road, as their students are learning about chemical reactions. Who said science was boring? PS—if you have a 7th grade student ask them how chemical reactions relate to the Middle School dating scene.

Game on! 7th graders strategized and battled with one another on multiplication facts while simultaneously solidifying their understanding of positive and negative integers.
