We had a record number of helpers show up, and thanks to all your hard work, we got everything done in record time — and even had time to tackle extra tasks! 💪🌼 Our school community garden is blooming brighter because of the time, energy, and heart you all shared today. 🌻 From weeding and planting to hauling and organizing, every little bit made a huge difference. Truly, many hands make light work! A huge THANK YOU to all our incredible Merrimac Families for showing up and digging in together. 🌿💖 Special thanks to Buttermilk Barn for the soil donation! #MerrimacStrong #GardenDaySuccess #ThankYouFamilies #CommunityRoots #ManyHandsMakeLightWork

Five Sauk Prairie Teachers Named Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellows
Congratulations to all of our young writers who participated in the Young Author's Conference. Sauk Prairie was represented by 18 students from grades 3-5. These young authors from Grand Ave, Merrimac and Tower Rock had their writing selected as winning entries. Because of their winning pieces, the students earned participation in the Central Wisconsin Talented and Gifted (CWTAG) Young Author's Conference where they heard from a published author and attended writing workshops. Their work is published in an anthology of winning entries. The Young Author's Conference, held earlier this year in Westfield, featured writing from students across Central Wisconsin in the areas of poetry, narrative writing, and creative writing.
